    Could MS have possibly made installing MSFS2020 any more frustrating?


    I am no stranger to computers, yet the install process for MS FS2020 seems to be a real challenge. and I need help. Why do I have to deal with so many accounts that I don't even know why they're there. I am very confused.

    Hi!

    I've the MSFS2020. In the marketplace it is possible to click BUY for a product. But after this I become the error "buying not possible".

    The accounts in the MS Store, XBOX-App and MSFS2020 are the same.

    My creditcard is working - because I bought a product today in the MS-Store.

    Anybody any idea what there is wrong?

    So i have that issue every couple weeks. I just log off msfs2020 and log back in and it works every time!

    I had the same problem. I have a few apps I start before launching the sim, such as TrackIR, instrument server and a couple of other addons. On a whim, I started the sim with none of the addons and the Marketplace worked perfectly. Good luck.

    Can't access MSFS 2020

    I certainly did.

    Repair/Reset...even terminate and re-installed the X-Box app. I even tried re-installing Windows 10 (much quicker than MSFS2020) as well as a system restore - all fruitless.

    Re-installing MSFS 2020 (3+ hours) looked like an eventual option but was not advised by MS Tech support over the phone as the issue (according to them) was an imminent Windows update in conjunction with a MSFS2020 update that they are working on.

    Bummer. I had intentionally installed the N version because I don't want any of that stuff. I want as lean a windows as possible since I use it for exactly one reason: MSFS2020. For everything else I use Linux.

    I'll give installing the media feature pack a try when I get a chance and report back then.
