Could Microsoft or Game Moderators Provide a Digital Download Key of a Game In Case its...

Well, all those details are available through the ticket for the proof of contact I had with the Microsoft Tech Assistant, but I'll say my part of the conversation here:

I have a physical disc of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.

So, I inserted it into the disc drive of my Xbox 360, it was able to read it and start it up to the startup screen.

After a while, the screen turned black and a pop-up prompting me that an "update is required" showed up and started downloading an update, then a pop-up that said "Update In Progress" appeared.

After a long while, the download finished and it said that the "game couldn't start, try redownloading the game".

At first, I pressed "B" to close the pop-up, then it went back to the dashboard.

I opened Minecraft again, and it opened to the start-up screen and went black again, but this time, a pop-up that said "Minecraft has failed to load and cannot continue" appeared.

So it made me go back to the dashboard again.

So, I deleted the Minecraft files from my hard drive and reopened Minecraft, and the pop-up that said "update is required" showed up and started downloading an update again.

I tried different accounts, resetting my console, testing different connections, reinstalling system updates, clearing caches, testing different consoles, and more.

But it always goes back to this situation...

Just to keep in mind,

• My Physical copy is genuine
• My hard drive is in good condition and it isn't full (I only used 11 GB out of 500 GB)
• My XBOX is also in good condition, it doesn't encounter much problems.
• I am able to update and download different games I have, except Minecraft.

Thank you for the information, This is a very strange case and might need to talk to an agent again. That is odd for it not to give a strange update error without a error code. Sadly without that I cannot think there is a way to fix this issue from the sources
I have. The only thing I can suggest to it is contact both Mojang Support and mircosoft support at the same time.

This sounds like a error with the download patch. I suggest those 2 but I also suggest since you mention 11Gigabyte free, I do not know the size of the update so I suggest, trying freeing up to 20gb Minimal and trying that after that is freed up. Incase
there is a weird bug causing the issue.

I Don't think it is possible to get a free copy due to physical malfunctions. With the updating issue could you give more information on what appears when you try to update and it fails?. Like the error code and what it says.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with the update for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition.

As for viewing the supoort chat ticket, we in the forums don't have access to it.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Once it is done switching the console off and then back on and try to see if you can enter the game.

The gamer used 11GB of 500GB, so he would have about 489GB free.
