Am i permabanned?

i have been banned before on xbox live communications and ive been given a date to when im unbanned. Its been over a month and i dont know if im permanently banned or when im gonna get unbanned. Please help.

I don't think I could call someone who got my account permanently banned my friend anymore. Good luck getting it reversed, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

If the old unban date has passed you may need to delete the account and re add it to the console for it to recognize the account being unbanned if that's the case. If not, the only thing you can do is refer to the enforcement site linked in the other comment.

You also have the option to check with the phone or chat support through: to inquire if there is an enforcement action on your account and for how long. They can't assist with the enforcement actions, however they should be able to inform you on the actions
present in your account

Hello!

If your account received a permanent ban it would have an end time of the year 9999.

If it's currently still not working on your Xbox, I would try doing a hard reset on your system to see if it works afterwards. If not trying removing your account and adding it back to your console.

If the account is not allowing certain features to be used like communications, please visit our Enforcement page. It is possible to view previous or current suspensions. Also,
with the newest console update, it is possible to view the enforcement history right on the console itself.

If it shows another suspension or extensions of the suspension, try out the "case review" option. It may have a questionnaire that needs to be filled out in order to move forward with the process. It is to show understanding of the policies and guidelines.
