    Corrupt World in Minecraft for W10, vers. 1.16.221 (MoJjang)


    Dear Sirs,

    When playing minecraft for W10, I've experienced a horrible and frustrating bug: the world, after being reloaded, looks corrupt so that huge "holes" seem to have scavenged it, somehow like worms would have eaten an apple. Strange enough: such "holes" are spawned only in proximity of the areas, where I've been building something (which is even more frustrating).



    Now the questions are:

    1. Having no world backup, is it possible to restore the holed areas to original seed's integrity?

    2. Having lost a lot of chests containing materials, is it possible to restore them?

    3. How to prevent this phenomena to pop up agin in future?

    Please: I am a 9 years old boy, crying for my mauled world, with a very affective father taking care of the issue.

    Just upgraded to W10 on Xbox and am experiencing this same issue with all my saved Minecraft worlds. Did you find a solution? My kids are going to kill me! :(

    Access Application Data\.minecraft\saves. ...

    1. Make a copy of the corrupted world folder & all files & folders inside, and rename it however you please. ...
    2. Start Minecraft and create a new world, then save and close Minecraft. ...
    3. Go back to Application Data\. ...
    4. Cut the files (but not the folders) from the new saved world folder.

    Minecraft worlds failed to sync/corrupted.....help?

    Minecraft doesn't need internet to work unless you play on multiplayer mode. Do you save your world before close your Minecraft? If is corrupt I suggest to copy the corrupted world and check tutorial for uncurrupt it.

    Maybe your whole Minecraft data is corrupted. Try to save your worlds on a flashdrive and then delete Minecraft and then redownload it and put your worlds back on it.
