Corrupt texture data, Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Hi everyone

I was playing the game and in a short film near the 15% of the game it crashes and spam the text:

"Corrupt texture data passed into PCDX11Texture constructor"

Im on a xbox one s

What could i do?

Tomorrow we will see an announcement from Square Enix about the next Tomb Raider game.

Possibly the last in the Lara Croft story.

Personally I can't wait as Tomb Raider and Rise of were both fantastic.

Looks like a possible release of September 14, 2018.

It's probaly an unknown bug in the game. You should contact the developers to tell them about it. and if they can replicate it, then they will be able to fix it. You can contact them on this website

Delete the game, restart the console and download the game again

 

Im on the xbox one and it say the when i get to the hidden city.

 

Seems to be a known issue with the PC version. Unfortunately on Xbox you can’t perform the fix listed here corrupt texture data passed into pcdx11texture constructor :: Rise of the Tomb Raider Technical Support so
your only course of action is to reinstall the game as M3tal Daz3 has suggested.

 

This may be a coincidence, but I had a co pulsory update to the game today on xbox one x and i now find this problem too.
