    Corrupt? Please help!


    I tried my apps and all I get is error 0x8007001f

    the I get told it's corrupt and it takes me to the troubleshoot page I tried deleting all but it tells me the same thing every time.

    Please help!!!!!!!

    I have just set up my xbox one and the sound doesn't sound right. I have it on a 5.1 dolby system it's really odd on call of duty advanced warfare the centre speaker works during cinematic scenes but has no volume during game play it sounds ok and the gun and voice effects come mainly from the front two speakers but that can't be right????

    Has anyone else got call of duty set up on 5.1 dolby system?

    i dont have cod..

    first i would go into settings and controller and update it.. (idk why) but somewhere along the line an update for headsets had something with dolby 5.1 in it.

    i dont have cod so i cant say how my 5.1 sound bar works but the way i recall it is.. the developer sets the standard or output channels.. this is why forza worked next to polk audio to "dial in sound" its not really a microsoft thing as much as cod development.

    i would check settings on xb1 to see if it is in dolby 5.1 or stereo
    i would also check the settings in game to seewhat they are.

    depending on your sound bar check and see i fit has a setting for analog or coax it may also have different modes.. game,movie,stereo,cinamatic each one does alter how sound is projected

    Are you sure you're using the same WLID that is on that GT? What is the exact error message you get when you try to Recover (forums.xbox.com/.../37357.aspx) your

    Profile keeps corrupting. Help please.

    Had the same problem and it kept corrupting my profile but I finally found a solution. Do these steps and youll be fine...

    1) Go to system settings then go to memory

    2) Go under profiles and you will see corrupted profile

    3) Recover profile

    *4) This is what I recommend since the profile kept getting corrupted, MAKE SURE YOU TURN AUTO SIGN IN SETTING OFF.

    Do that and you should be good.

    We would need to definitely rule out your hard drive as the cause. Can you try removing your hard drive, recovering your Gamertag to a USB flash drive configured as a Memory Unit, and see if you experience the issue at that point?

    I think it's appropriate to add--since you weren't clear in the original post--that if you purchased this HDD in any format other than as a new, sealed Microsoft packaged product then it's quite possible that it's not a legitimate Xbox HDD. These counterfeit
    drives have floated around on EBay, Amazon, and used markets for years.

    Corrupt Hard Drive? Please Help!

    I really doubt it's "Corrupt" since this usually doesn't happen. What I'd do is;

    Completely clean the HD, clear it's cache, connect your console to your PC and reformat the HD/get an external HD and simply use that as your main one, like I do.

    That WILL work, unless it's a technical error triggered by J-Tagging/Flashing your console.
