Core service problems

Ok so I pay a lot of money for my family of 5 to connect to xbox live. Now twice in one week core services are down. Any other place would be willing to give credit for down times especially for those that stream or play competitively. It is unacceptable
that I can not communicate with my friends and teammates due to these continuous issues. I believe I speak for everyone that we are owed compensation due to faulty network issues.

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear about your poor experience on Xbox Live, but as has happened in the past, Microsoft will likely not offer any kind of compensation for unexpected downtime.

In this day and age, anything can happen with data centres around the World, bad weather, internal server maintenance/upgrades and other factors that can cause these issues.

It says core services are functional atm..

Xbox does not generally compensate users for the few times there are issues like this. You can keep an eye out for updates on the status page here https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

have you checked xbox live core services? is the problem still present?
