    Hi,

    I don't actually play the Xbox. I bought it for my niece.

    I also bought the Microsoft Gold package that I pay for monthly.

    When I set her box up, I logged in with my Microsoft credentials since I bought the Microsoft Gold package.

    It turns out though, she has not created her own login account and has been using mine for years.

    Also, within the box system, she can click, "View my Microsoft Profile" and get in.

    From there, she could make all types of changes in my Microsoft Family settings.

    How can I set her up with her own account and copy all of her game saves and info over to the new account?

    No, I did not. All I had to do was download a new copy from Minecraft.net. I could sign in with my Microsoft account, but the record of my purchase was still there. I downloaded a new copy and installed it fresh, without any old copies of Minecraft in the applications folder or in the Library/Application Support folders. I did keep a copy of the "saved" folder from the old setup because that's where my existing worlds are. I can go back into the new installation and drop those old world files in the new "saved" folder in the new files that were created in the new installation.

    Well like I said I already transferred everything from the old HDD to my Slim, and I don't seem to be missing anything.

    But I assumed that was just a "copy" of the data, rather than a move. I just want to ensure that there is absolutely NO data left on the old HDD, especially connected to my account, so that I can sell it and someone else can use the old HDD as if it were
    a brand new HDD and not have any of my details/info on it...

    it's just the account and not the console itself. can I create a new account using my old info? (first/last name, card info) new emails..feels like a headache.

    Is it possible to copy all the gamertag information to a new gamertag/account? This way I could simply change the gamertag name on my account and my grandson would have a new account with all his old gamertag info and achievements. He may have to have a
    different gamertag name but that would be okay. We could also add his new gamertag/account to the 360. If I have to pay for two Xbox Gold subscriptions that will be fine too.

    This seems possible to me.

    He has been playing on my account with the gamertag associated with my account. I want to split the gamertag from my Microsoft Live Account. I got the Xbox One all setup. But I'd like to associate his gamertag (the current gamertag) to a different account
    or email or whatever it would be called. I appears to me now that the gamertag is inexorably linked to an account. I guess the gamertag and account are one in the same. So maybe for a fee Microsoft could copy all the gamertag info create a new gamertag/account
    copy it over and delete the info from my account/gamertag. Then I could add his new account as a child on my Xbox One.

    I just let this go on too long I think I could have straightened it out back when they had family share plans and I had one at that time. Oh well.
