    ciao a tutti ho un problema, ho comprato 2 anni di xbox live gold fino al 2022; dopodichè ho provato a fare l'upgrade al gamepass ultimate e mi esce scritto che sto tentando di effettuare il downgrade al mio abbonamento esistente e non mi fa l'upgrade;
    non capisco perchè visto che ho letto in giro che molti hanno fatto così e hanno poi avuto l'estensione del gamepass per la durata del precedente abbonamento al live gold. Se qualcuno fosse in grado di aiutarmi, mi rispondesse al piu presto, grazie.

    yes i have done it another time before, but i read on reddit that some people have done it for a second time and it worked, so it's why i asked here, i also tried to buy a month of ultimate gamepass and redeem it but it doesnt work and show me that message
    "you are triyng to do a downgrade of your existing subscription" and doesnt upgrade.

    Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold subscriptions

    Hello NikMcNik,

    GamePass Ultimate is the bundle itself of Gamepass and Live Gold, but it won't list that you have gold in your Xbox, if that is your question.

    So it makes sense that your Live Gold is deactivated, cause you right now have enabled Gamepass Ultimate.

    So :

    Gamepass Ultimate ( Is like a bundle of Gamepass and Live Gold)

    Xbox Live Gold

    Gamepass

    Will be shown as different subscriptions, cause these are technically different subscriptions, albeit Ultimate giving you both advantadges.

    Gamepass Ultimate includes Xbox Live gold and Gamepass. So if you cancel Gamepass Ultimate you cancel your gold too.

    Xbox Live Gold is included in Xbox Gamepass Ultimate. You would only need to resubscribe for Xbox Live Gold if you were to downgrade from Gamepass Ultimate later.
