    is there a conversion rate by payout from points to ms account?

    Just got about 40€ from over 50k points. I thought its 1:100?

    What is the email from?

    If it's from the Rewards program, rewards credits are not the same as Microsoft points so the conversion rate is not the same. You can check the program's FAQ to see how much 5,000 credits is in your region.

    I’m definitely aggravated by this nonsense.

    I’ve been a member of Xbox Live Rewards since the beginning. I’ve also been a member of Bing rewards ( Now Microsoft Rewards) since the beginning as well. While I have gotten a lot of great things from both, this transition is a Joke.

    A Conversion Rate of of 1 VIP Gem = 1 MS Rewards Credit is a slap in the face. You can make about 700 MS Rewards Credits per day, depending on your account Level and whatnot.

    So my 1200+ My VIP Gems that could’ve gotten me $25 worth of rewards, is now going to be reduced to about $1.50 worth of rewards? How in the holy hell does that make sense?!

    I wonder if I just decide to not let them add my Xbox Live Rewards stuff to my existing MS Rewards account, that I’ll make out better for it, since they’re supposed to be transferring anyone’s My VIP and all that into Local Currency?

    I know MS Rewards very well. That Gem=Credit conversion is a complete, barely laughable joke.

    I definitely have to contact MS about this absurd crap. Share my Comment and everyone else’s comments on this topic as much as you can. We gotta wake those lazy idiots up to this issue they’ve created.

    Buying Minecraft with Microsoft account credits.

    This situation is an outrage.

    I demand my money back and take for granted that I will be contacted by MS.

    My sense is that this conduct is illegal.

    I expect you to actively refund the transfer that was done today to this account without delay or further questions if I am sure, yada yada, etc just to lower the conversion rate.

    Hi Carol! Just to clarify: Are you looking to give your child your Microsoft account balance or Microsoft Rewards points? While transfering account balance isn't possible, you can give Rewards points to your child or other family members by adding them
    to your family in the 'Family' tab in your MS rewards hub.
