    Lately my games have been acting weird. Whenever I stand still in a shooter, or don't touch the right stick in rocket league, the camera just looks up, on its own. Just randomly my character looks up or the camera tilts up. I wanna know is it the controller
    doing something or is it the new update or the game, and how I can fix it.

    Thanks Paul but the troubleshooting doesn't relate to the problem. This problem happens for a variety of games, even FIFA.

    Sounds like you are having stick drift on that controller. If you are able to test with another controller to see if it is specific to that controller. If it is and the controller is still under warranty contact support directly. Contact Us | Xbox Support

    That without a doubt sounds like stick drift/ghosting, unfortunately you would need to replace the controller if its out of warranty unless you are really good with a soldering iron at replacing the thumbstick sensors.

    Left stick doesn't. Work correctly

    Do you by chance have a second controller signed in, that is pushing up?

    On the main Xbox menus, multiple controllers are "fighting" over the control of the dashboard, and every controller can move the cursor.

    When you start a game, each controller is assigned to a specific player, and only that player is controlled. So if a second controller is always pushing up, it won't affect control in a game of the first controller anymore.
