    why in God’s name is the left and right bumpers positioned in the way they r on Xbox one controllers. Trying to play res evil 4 and in order to use the knife which is left bumper and right trigger(to save ammo) and I have to completely change grip to use
    index finger to do it. I have 2 different models of Xbox one controllers and their both layed out the same. I refuse to spend another $45 to test out another controller. But damn, I play this game for 15 min or any other game in which the LB is used and I’m
    in agony. The older Xbox controller was big but it was so user friendly once u got used to it

    Xbox One issues after connecting headphones

    try updating your controller go to : settings/accessories/controller(make sure you have your controller connected to your xbox)/update controller

    Controller

    I'm using an Xbox One controller to play Resident Evil 4 on my PC, actually emulating the Wii version of the game, so not exactly the same issue but close enough I believe.

    How are you holding the controller? You must be holding it in a weird way as I don't have to shift my grip at all to hit the Left Bumper with my index finger. Do you have small hands that require you to shift your grip as you describe?

    Erm.............the Xbox controller has been pretty much the same since the 360 days, the Xbox One controller has changed slightly (rumble triggers, slightly more ergo dynamic bumpers etc) but they haven't physically been moved.

    Left stick doesn't. Work correctly

    Do you by chance have a second controller signed in, that is pushing up?

    On the main Xbox menus, multiple controllers are "fighting" over the control of the dashboard, and every controller can move the cursor.

    When you start a game, each controller is assigned to a specific player, and only that player is controlled. So if a second controller is always pushing up, it won't affect control in a game of the first controller anymore.
