Controller -> Xbox input issues

My Xbox isn’t receiving input from my controller(with exception to home button). It takes from keyboard and my controller works perfect when connected to mobile Minecraft but it isn’t working with Xbox at all. Tried turning on and off, resetting, and it also doesn’t work when I try streaming my Xbox from my phone with controller connected(phone’s remote control does work though). How can I fix this?

Try a different cable or port or connect to another device. If you have verified that the cable and port work, and the controller does not work when plugged in, you should replace the controller (see "Replace the controller" below).

Have you tried to check the controller test on the Xbox Accessories App?

Press the Xbox Guide Button > Settings > Devices & Connections > Controllers & Headsets > Enter Test Mode (Click on the Conical/Lab Flask Icon beside the three dots ...).

See if any button or analog is being pressed/moved on its own.

If it's damaged, and your controller is still under warranty, please, submit a repair request.

Are you using a Headset adapter on the controller?

Try connecting an adapter to the controller. It will bypass a faulty 3.5mm socket and it's a lot cheaper than buying a new controller.

Troubleshoot Stereo Headset setup has more info.

Also run the steps in Update xbox wireless controller with the adapter connected to the controller. All controllers you use need to run the firmware update.

The uSB method is my preference.
