Controller won't vibrate

    Controller won't vibrate


    So my controller won't vibrate when playing games at all. I have changed the batteries and uninstalled and installed the bluetooth drivers and still nothing I have even updated the controller by downloading Xbox accessories. It vibrates when i click buzz
    on that app or when I go to my steam and click identify it vibrates. i tried playing while plugged in and I haven't gotten anything. It only vibrates a second when the wired was put in and pulled out. Please help me out. this is for my PC not xbox console

    Check your battery level. If they're low, the controller won't vibrate.

    Ok cool, so there is potenitially an app to customize the controller settings.

    This still doesn't explain why the controller won't vibrate when used wirelessly. I know for certain the xbox 360 receiver works perfectly, and that a wired xbox one controller does too. So does it not make sense that we have a real issue with vibration
    on a wireless xbone controller?

    Can somebody else have the issue I have? Can anybody else confirm a broken vibration feature?

    Change controller vibration on Xbox One
    Press the Xbox button to open the Panel, then select System > Settings.
    Select Accessibility > Controller, then select Vibration Settings.
    Choose the controller you want to edit and select Configure.
    For an Elite Xbox controller, select the configuration profile you want to edit. Then Select Edit > Vibrate and move scrollable sliders to adjust vibration settings.
    For the Xbox Wireless controller, select Enable Vibration to turn controller vibration on or off.

    If it when in the back of the controller and is plastic it probably won't affect the controller performance, but I would disable the controller vibration to avoid it to be stuck on the mechanisms
