Controller won‘t turn on After update

    So I wanted to update my older Controllers via my new Xbox. For one it worked fine, for the other one ist failed. Now the Controller wont turn on anymore, even when I plug it in via USB. I read in the Xbox Support FAQ in that case I Need to replace my
    Controller but the support team Said I don‘t have warranty anymore. (if the controller fails during an update I actually don‘t think it‘s a case of warranty but nvm.) So i tried some stuff like turning on xbox and having the controller connected for some time
    but nothing worked. Does anybody know a Solution for this? Or is the controller just broken?

    hi, try doing a hard reset of the console by holding the power button down on the front of the console until it turns off, unplug it from the outlet for 30 seconds, plug it back in then power back on and try the controller update again.

    Have you found any solutions to this?? I had the exact same issue. After attempting an update, it failed half way, and froze the system. Now it will not power up at all, and doesnt register on my PC as even being an xbox controller. Tech support was absolutely
    useless, and said it just needs replaced. But I was literally playing on it this morning with no issues until I decided to update the damn thing.

    And my GF just put a new skin on it for my birthday literally last week :-(
