    Controller won't turn on after update


    Hey,

    I havent played my xbox one for a while so I needed to do some updates on it. One of them were the controller but I ran into some issues with it. While updating the controller, it failed mid way and the controller wouldnt turn on
    afterwards. I replaced my batteries, USB cord I tried to plug the controller, unplugging the xbox itself, using another cord and my rechargeable battery didnt do the trick as well. Why is my controller not turning on? help Controller won't turn on after update :( Renewed my live too on the first
    day lol.

    Xbox won't turn on after update

    I was playing Forza my Xbox said it needed to update it downloaded it and said verifying I think it completed that stage then it shut down and won't turn back on. I tried taking the power cord out for 30n seconds but still nothing???

    Have you found any solutions to this?? I had the exact same issue. After attempting an update, it failed half way, and froze the system. Now it will not power up at all, and doesnt register on my PC as even being an xbox controller. Tech support was absolutely
    useless, and said it just needs replaced. But I was literally playing on it this morning with no issues until I decided to update the damn thing.

    And my GF just put a new skin on it for my birthday literally last week :-(

    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty discouraging but if the steps

    here     have failed to resolve the issue, the only option left would be to get it replaced.

    Tv won't work on my xbox one.

    After the update my Vizio tv can no longer be controlled or turn on/off by the Xbox One. It was working fine before 5 he update. It won't let me set it up like before since Xbox recognizes my TV.

    hi, try doing a hard reset of the console by holding the power button down on the front of the console until it turns off, unplug it from the outlet for 30 seconds, plug it back in then power back on and try the controller update again.
