    Controller won’t turn off and doesn’t respond to inputs


    My elite 2 controller stopped working in the middle of a game and I tried to turn it off but it woldn’t let me, it doesn’t do anything when i use any of the buttons and doesn’t show any other lights other than the home button. How do I fix this?

    Yeah, the only problem that occurs is that when I click the save button, it won’t input anything. So it doesn’t update anything.

    About the only thing you can do is set your tv input to Game Mode if it has one. It won’t eliminate input lag but it’ll make it better by turning off most of the extra processing.

    I just tried that and it didnt work. As soon as I turned on the adaptive controller (nothing plugged into it) and pressed A or B it started spinning my character again. I just went to another game and when I turned on the adaptive controller there none
    of my buttons would respond on either controller. Turned off the adaptive one and the regular controller worked fine. It seems like something is shorting out in the adaptive controller. When I first started having problems it would stop if I tapped the A or
    B button. Like it just needed to be jostled or something. That doesn’t work anymore.
