    Controller update version 5.9.2709.0


    Just got this controller update on my non-Insider Series X. I had heard that it reduces input delay significantly, but I noticed nothing at all. Tried Apex, Cold War, Valhalla, BFV, and FH4 and all feel exactly the same. Anyone notice anything else with this update?

    Is there any update for Windows 11 users? My two Series X controllers keep disconnecting. The firmware is 5.9.2709.0 and nothing I attempted could fix it. I'd also like to try to find legacy drivers for windows to see if they can solve the issue. Right now the controller is filling my error logs with hundreds of events as soon as I add it via Bluetooth.

    The error is: 7034 "The bluetooth service managed was closed"

    The device manager will keep refreshing. Even if it the controller is turned off, or the computer rebooted. The only solution is to remove it completely from bluetooth.

    The older Xbox controllers (with micro USB) work fine.

    Accessories are warranted for 90 days. As it is not possible to redo the update, if it is still under warranty, I recommend you open a replacement order.
