Discus and support controller update just bricked my controller? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; so ive just plugged my controller in and it stated there was an update. got to 97ish and the controller vibrated and the screen showed try again not...     controller update just bricked my controller?


    so ive just plugged my controller in and it stated there was an update.

    got to 97ish and the controller vibrated and the screen showed try again not the controller will only flash it will not sync to the console and also will now not work on my pc.

    the controller was working 100% fine before the update and now its like nothing understands it when connected.

    the controller is out of warranty as ive had it a while but the controller was fine the update has broken it for what ever reason.

    can someone from microsoft please reply as it also seems your live chat doesnt work, surprise surprise

    Warning ! Do not brick your controller . New controller update procedure stay away like the plague.

    it's bloody unbelievable that the $40 i just spent, bricked my controller. now i have to spend another $60 on a controller, that also might brick if i update it.

    right before titanfall too.

    I always wait to hear from support before doing anything, as frustrating as that can be sometimes.

    The controller update bricked my controller.

    Here is what worked for me. Power on the console. Take out the batteries of the controller and plug it in via the side usb. Then wait a couple of minutes. It should eventually start working.
