    Controller unsyncing


    So recently i just got a new computer and want to use my xbox elite controller to play games on it. The only problem is that when ever i plug in my controller to my computer, instead of playing to my computer it turns on my xbox becuase it is synced to
    it. I have tried unsycning my elite controller from my xbox but none of the videos or instructions helped. I took the batteries out of my controller and the plugged it into my computer and the controller turned on but still was connected to my xbox. I really
    need some help because i dont wont to spend more money on a controller just so it wont be connected to my xbox.

    okay so I borrowed a friends controller and it works! So my two controllers just aren't unsyncing from the previous wireless receiver and computer I used them on, does anyone know how I can unsync them?

    Hey there TG SilentStorm.

    You shouldn't need to unsync the controllers. Once you sync them with another device they should automatically unsync from a previous device. Have you possibly tested one of these controllers with an Xbox 360 to see if they're able to connect there?

    Sorry about that. I just checked and it isn't there. The only way to unsync the controller I believe will be to remove the battery and sync a different controller to take its place.
