    Xbox S Controller

    Starting to think the wireless headphones could have something to do with the issue you're having. Worth trying both wired headset and wired controller together to see if there is any improvement or if it fixes the lag issue.

    If it's a wired headset and out of the 90 day warranty period I would try replacing the 3.5mm headphone jack. We've had 3 controllers stop working with a wired headset. (all other buttons, etc. still worked) I replaced the 3.5mm jack and now have sound
    and mic thru the wired headset! You can find the part on Amazon for around $5.00 USD. Easy fix.

    Can you please clarify your situation? What model xbox are you using? You indicate that you’ve plugged the wired headphones into the “console,” did you mean that you plugged the headphones into the controller(s)?

    Providing that the headphones are plugged into the (properly paired and functioning) controllers, and volume adjustments have been performed, they (and any other headphone) should work.

    This does not occur if I connect the same headset via wire/headphone jack to the controller.

    It only occurs when connected wirelessly to the Xbox one S.

    Please fix.

    I Have an Xbox Series S and My Monitor doesn’t have speakers or a 3.5mm jack

    No otherway other then headphones

    You can connect wired or wireless headphones via your phojw or direct into the controller unless you have an older xbox you can use optical out to sound bar or threater or TV
