controller stops vibrating

My Day One edition controller has stopped vibrating as well.

Okay, just to clarify - your controller wouldn't stop vibrating either?

No indicator yet, but when your controllers are about to die the vibration stops working

Based on the description, you are having problem with Xbox Wireless controller that is used during game play of Forza Horizon 5 in your Windows Pc. Let us check and see on what we can do to help resolve your concern in a timely manner.



We would like to ask few questions to help us isolate the issue further.

1. When did the issue start?

2. What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far to help resolve the issue?

3. Have you tried using the Xbox Wireless controller to Xbox console and having the same issue?

4. Are you seeing this behavior in ALL game and apps or happening in ONE game or app only?

5. How is your Xbox Wireless controller connected to PC? Is it through Bluetooth or connected with USB cable?

For the meantime, here are the troubleshooting steps that we can perform:

1. Make sure Windows is up to date

• Press the Start button on the taskbar, type settings, and then select Settings.
  
• On Windows 10, select Update & Security. On Windows 11, select Windows Update.
  
• On the Windows Update page, select Check for updates to see if any updates are available
  

including optional updates for your device.

• Once the updates have downloaded, select Install now to start the installation.
  
• Following installation, we recommend that you restart your device so that the latest updates can take effect.
  

2. Update your controller on Windows 10/11 by using the Xbox Accessories app:

1. If you don’t already have the app installed, get it in the Store: Microsoft Store
   
2. Open the Xbox Accessories app.
   
3. Connect your Xbox Wireless Controller by using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.
   
4. When the controller is connected, you'll see the message Update Required if an update is mandatory. Install the update.
