    I recently purchased an Xbox Series X|S controller for PC gaming. Unfortunately, today the battery leaked, causing my hands to get oily. I disposed of the batteries, and now I'm attempting to use the controller without them. However, after 1 or 2 minutes of gameplay, the controller stops functioning, and my computer fails to recognize it. Despite the light being on, I have attempted various methods to power the controller, but the issue persists.

    Elite Series 2 trigger sticking

    Same issues, but discovered NO MICROSOFT SUPPORT TO GET REPLACEMEMT , WEBPAGE JUST INSTANTLY REFREASH NONE STOP IS TOTALY DISCUNTIONAL.

    1) now 3rd replacing elite series 2 controller is never functions after few months is NOT QUALITY CONTROLLED

    The controller does occasionally work, but when it does, it stops giving inputs after a few minutes before disappearing from the USB game controllers settings, even though it was still on and connected.

    I have found the best answer to be uninstalling Xbox related software from Windows10. It stops the issue. Xbox software must be taking player 1 controller spot somehow after a few minutes.

    I have been having this same issue since the update to the new Dashboard. I have had to use the USB Recovery to get the system to function again. And then the system becomes unresponsive to the Controllers(s). It's like a huge lag is building and after
    a few minutes the controllers will work for a few minutes.

    I am getting tired of having to use the USB reset and wait for my save files to get synched so I can get playing again.

    It happened again! Just checked a few minutes ago and I lost 35 points from just yesterday. I read some posts suggesting to download profile again, tried it, made no difference. Why is this happening! Again, nothing happens to friends scores, just mine.
    I believe Microsoft really needs to address this problem of mine, I've been a faithful consumer, even after my Day One controller stop functioning within the first year of having it. But this... this is pushing it.
