controller shake/flick not working

Discus and support controller shake/flick not working in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; ive been killed twice in nightmare mode because of this am going to try and play w/out kinect........am getting serious case of buyers remorse...     controller keeps disconnecting

    My controller did this turns out there wasnt a solid connection between the pack and the controller. Shake the pad if it goes off this is your problem. If you shake it and it doesnt go off you have not found your problem.

    controller shake/flick not working

    I noticed the controller shake prompt wont appear if you are not playing with kinect facing you. try that!

    I find if I sit up at works, but if im kinda laying down in my couch potato position it wont. See the 2 little red lights on the front of the controller? There has to be a clear line of sight to the Kinect.

    Oh... so that is how it works... I thought it was similar to the motion thing on the PS3 controller.. Now I know why it sometimes won't work controller shake/flick not working :D

    ^ this. As long as you learn how to use it properly, it works exceptionally well. I don't really ever use it for games, I just love it as another controller. But it does have fun uses like flicking zombies off you by shaking the controller instead of just
    pushing a button. So I really like it!
