    Controller rumble seems to be broken


    So I bought an xbox one s last week, and my controller seems to have broken somehow. I did not wack it on the table or throw it, it was either sitting on my desk or in my hands the whole time. The controller felt great since day one and even earlier today
    the rumble was just right. But now it vibrates very strongly and loudly, making games like Forza Horizon 4 nearly unplayable. I have tried everything short of taking the controller apart.

    How long did your batteries last?

    Mine have taken a week, playing 5 hours a day. The rumble went dead, thought my controller was broken changed the batteries then the rumble came back, so if your rumble goes dead try new batteries first.

    True, the Link is broken.

    The XBOX App in Windows10 should let us calibrate the Controller, including trigger rumble , rumble strengh, button mapping etc.

    The Xbox app has much room for improvement- with the wireless xbox one Controller for windows 10, there is no way to check the battery status anywhere...

    Xbox One Elite Controller rumble motor issue

    I am also getting this issue with my 20 day old Elite controller, except the left rumble motor is what is making the squealing noise for me. I used the Xbox Accessories app to test the inividual rumble motors and it seems like the left rumble is squeaking
    worse when I reduce the rumble level to 50% and below.

    The noise sounds like the capacitor whine which some graphic cards suffer from.

    Seems like the rumble motor was dislodged. Would just say to take off the face plate but just looked at my controller and noticed there are no holes.

    Xbox series X controller vibration issue

    Hi. I Turned off rumble on steam preferences. It turned off rumble vibration. Just connect your controller, goto steam, settings, controller settings, preferences and turn off rumble.

    This will help for fifa 22.
