Controller Rumble Issue (Been through all obvious fixes) - any help would be incredibly...

Bit of a long one. The left main rumble in my xbox elite controller stopped working. I tried another controller, and still no rumble in left part. The second controller was quite old so bought a new
one, and the same issue occurred.

Note: The left main rumble did not work at all in the elite, but felt slightly different in the two normal controllers, like it was being held back or restricted.

It seems like, when the elite rumble broke, it has done something to the settings or connectivity. I have tried a soft and hard reboot with the new controller wired in but not working still. Have updated
the controller firmware and tried pretty much every fix I can, but have also not found anyone describing this specific problem

Normally would be not a major problem, but the main game I play is Rocket League and it is actually quite important (for me anyway) to have that specific rumble for that game. And also is generally annoying
as I am not getting the proper rumble on any games at all.

I haven't been able to get the rumble back at all - I am thinking of going to get a new controller, but I fear it may happen again as I think it's a problem with the console not sending the instruction back to the control to tell it to rumble, sounds like
a patch could fix it, but would like to hear if that's intact in the works... especially before I go dump another $60 on a new control.

That's all the obvious suggestions out of the way and the only other thing I can think of at this point would be to have a look through Ubisoft's support forums for the game to see if any similar issues have been reported. Sorry I couldn't be of more help

Unfortunately, that is the deal breaker for me (inability to turn off controller vibrations).

It doesn't matter how much I want the game because I find the rumble feature to be incredibly annoying and it absolutely ruins my gameplay experience for me

If you truly despise rumble, I would recommend disabling the motors in your controller. You would never have to worry about whether a game has settings to turn it off ever again.

I've tried all the obvious things. Multiple controllers, multiple adapters, multiple headsets, updating controllers, firmware updates, etc etc been through a lot of support mazes and nothing has helped thus far.
