Controller RB very unresponsive

I bought a controller in early march and since late april, the rb and slowly got more and more unresponsive. It has went from having to click 2-3 times for it to register to anywhere between 5-20 hard presses for it to do anything. It also happened on an
old controller that seemed to sort the problem out itself while i rebinded buttons on games.

What should i do with this problem? I have no idea how long i have on warranty and whether i should just buy a new controller or not

The same exact thing happened to me! I was fine with my controller and then the rb became unresponsive. If you have a warranty on your controller thats still active you can go to this link and order a replacement https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/controller-warranty

I am having this same issue.

I have been playing story mode to chapter 3

I can get to map menu but the lb and rb buttons are unresponsive to get to blueprint, player or other menus.

I can control everything on the menu except the rb and lb buttons don't work

Game is not freezing. Lb and rb buttons work during game play, just not in the menu

Hi the only solution I can think of now is to ask around for someone that fix console related items and send it to them to open it up for you , if you don't want to do it yourself.

or if the controller is still under warranty feel free to contact Microsoft support for assistants with either sending it to them for repairs or exchanging it for a new one
