    Controller programs with Mixed Reality immersive mode


    When playing Minecraft in Windows Mixed Reality, the controller face buttons stop working in immersive mode. After entering immersive mode, I can open the inventory or crafting menus once, but the next time I try to do either it no longer works. I can continue
    to craft or place objects with the triggers but I can not use a crafting box, even though pressing the trigger in front of a crafting box should bring up the menu, and the triggers still work for mining.

    When I am in the theater mode the crafting and inventory menus work correctly as long as I don't go into immersive mode.

    I have this problem with the Xbox 360 controller and the mixed reality controllers.

    Ok I was thinking and wouldn't it be cool if Microsoft allowed their mixed reality headsets to be played on the Xbox One X. The graphical power inside could surely run it and they have enough HDMI ports as well as USB 3.0 ports, and the Bluetooth 4.0 for
    the move controllers could be done through a firmware update to the already existing Bluetooth transceiver inside of the Xbox One X. A new headset could even be made that would specialize towards the Xbox One X and could be a mainstream, cheaper way for consumers
    to have full, room-scale VR through the console they already have inside of their homes. There would not need to be any set up of external sensors or anything like that. It would practically be plug and play! Also, if some already have a Mixed Reality headset
    then they could just plug that into the Xbox and run the games the same way. This would be awesome.

    1. What model of headset are you using for Mixed Reality?

    2. Can you verify that Windows 10 is fully updated on this PC?

    3. Do you see any available driver updates for the headset you're using?

    4. If you uninstall Minecraft, reboot your PC, and re-install Minecraft, do you see any difference after that?

    Question: Will the Xbox One have any 3D video games made for it?

    You dont need 3D, Kinect, Kinect Glasses, Motion/voice controls to be immersed.

    -

    In reality those all remove the immersion.

    -

    Think of the the game you have been personally most immersed in..... see it uses none of that.

    Hi Tommy, I don't have a VR device, I don't understand why this has happened at all, I just cannot get the screen message to go off my screen and allow me open the msfs! I have asked on the msfs forum, with no real answer to the issue.I did try Ctrl+Tab but, does the programme need to be open,if so then I can't go any further than the image I have posted,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.



    Regarding to your information I assume that you have some problems when you play the MSFS.

    Did you use a VR device like Quest 2?

    If you don't have a VR device you can try to use the Ctrl+Tab shortcuts to switch the VR mode or Monitor mode.

    If you have a VR device you can try to delete all vr devices in the Device Manager and reconnect it to reset the setting of Mixed Reality.

    If these steps can't solve your problem may be the better way you get help about this game is the MSFS official forums which have

    a lot of professional players of this game.
