    Controller not working properly on xcloud gaming or remote play while it is wired to phone.


    Whenever I connect my controller (XBOX series controller or Elite Series 2 controller) to my phone (Galaxy S10+), via wired, the right thumb stick doesn't work and my R2 and L2 triggers send inputs as X and Y rotation (what the right stick is supposed to do). This only happens on my android when I played wired; playing bluetooth eliminates that problem but adds the latency problem that is pushing me to want to play wired in the first place. Anybody else have this issue or a fix?

    That's odd. If you connect these controllers to your phone and play using xCloud or Remote Play, does the same thing happen?

    Remote play ala xcloud is only available on gamepass ultimate

    Game.streaming.via.the xbox companion app requires a xbox

    Keep in mind you can't.use.the.xbox while you are.using.the wireless gamestreaming
    Huh? Remote Play is nothing to do with Xcloud or Game Pass. And if it won't work, then how can they get it working on their Android device? And they have an Xbox so that's not the issue.

    They are trying to Remote Play their Series X games from their Series X console to their PC via the Remote Play feature and using the Xbox App. This should work without an issue, as it does with their Android device. There is nothing on the Remote Play page to suggest Game Pass is needed

    It does do you not understand how bc works

    Each game has to be be approved by the original developer then patched

    If it is on pause ms isn't actively working on it

    They still have to add the games to xcloud a lot of titles aren't in xcloud

    Not all xbox 360 games are in xgu and they have to be in xgu to be able to play it in xcloud

    @op remote play requires you to be in a XGU REGION and have an xgu subscription

    Remote play isn't in all regions either

    It doesn't tax your phone cpu

    It's based on your Wi-Fi.

    You don't even need a console

    Microsoft xCloud allows you to play games off the cloud rather than connecting you to your console. In fact, you don't even need to own an Xbox console to play games on Microsoft xCloud. You will however need a Game Pass Ultimate subscription

    No at this time it is only a feature of xcloud
    Is xcloud not the same as mobile gaming (remote play)?
