    Controller not working on NBA2k23


    When I logged into the game, I realized my button mapping was wrong. My controller, as well as other controllers, work just fine on other games. For example, I cannot use my joy sticks at all in 2k23. Additionally, when I click B, it acts as if I pressed A. And when I click X, it acts as if I clicked B. This is both in-game and at the main menu. I have played NBA2K23 for a while and it has worked but just this month it has stopped working. Anybody have suggestions?

    Alright, thank you I will contact steam support and see if they can help. The 2k support that I contacted have not helped me at all, so I hope steam can.

    Hi there!

    If your controller mapping works fine on other games, the issue here is on the game itself and not on your console settings. You may try to clear the game's data locally if that fixes it.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.
    Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button on your controller.
    Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.
    Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.
    After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox:
    Press and hold the Xbox button in the centre of your controller.
    Select Restart console, then follow the prompts.

    If that doesn't work, you may consider reinstalling the game. But before doing that, you could try to reach out 2K Support to report the issue and ask for further assistance.
