    Hello tazzie32,

Thank you for keeping us updated. It is possible the controller will need a repair if all troubleshooting steps have been taken, and the controller still has the same issue. Does the headset work with other devices? Have you attempted to plug in a different
    headset to the controller? The
    Microsoft hardware website
is where customers can register their devices and create repair orders. The
Xbox Support Team is also able to assist with creating repairs. Be sure to let us know the results!

  3. Controller won’t connect!gg

    Hey there DaintyRug610498,

If all the steps were performed through the Troubleshoot your Xbox One Wireless Controller
page, then please contact support through our
    Contact Us
    page.

Also, if the controller works on another console, then it would be the console that needs a repair. If other controllers work on the console being used currently, then the controller is the one that needs a repair.

You'll want to go to Contact Us | Xbox Support and say no, thanks to the virtual assistant. You should be given options to either chat with support or request a
call back. If those options do not appear, try another topic. Support does not have an email.

    Hi H BOMB B4,

Thanks for reaching out to us for this issue. Sorry to hear that your controller isn't working properly. You'll not be able to contact Microsoft Support via email right out of the gate sadly. When it comes to getting some help for your controller, you may
wish to try to troubleshoot it first using the following support article entitled

Troubleshoot your Xbox One wireless controller
to determine if you need to even contact Xbox Support directly.

If your controller is malfunctioning and you'd like to see what service you can get for it, you'll need to first register your console at Device service and repair if you
haven't already, then you can select the accessory (in this case, controller) for service. Since you mentioned that you were having an issue in the automated systems, you can also request a
call back from Xbox Support directly as well.

When you go to Contact Usto request a callback, follow these steps:

    • Step 1 ----select Xbox One
    • Step 2 ----select no thanks, then select category system update
    • Step 3-----gives some troubleshooting or help tips, select contact options
    • Step 4 ----select request a call from support

Once they call, explain the issue and they will be able to help you.

I hope that this helps out and please let us know the results.
