    Controller not inputting to stream.


    Hi everyone!

    I just got started with the game streaming feature, and while I can connect just fine, once the stream starts, the controller input doesn't do anything.

    The controller is connected via bluetooth to the Android (Pixel 3a XL, Android 10), and the firmware on the controller has been updated to the latest version.

    I also tried to play another controller supported app (COD Mobile) and it worked perfectly, so it just seems to be the streaming app I'm having trouble with.

    I tried to work around it, by connecting the controller to the console after a stream was established, and that worked for about a minute before the stream was disconnected, requesting the controller be reconnected to the device.

    Any solutions for a fix?

    xbox peripherals other than the controller will not work over streaming full stop. the files you were trying to use are to set them up for other games, only the xbox controller or a controller with x-input can be used for streaming.

    Upgraded to Xbox App beta 9.9.21000 but still having the same issue:

    Able to stream to my Xbox, but the controller is passing its input to both the Xbox and the Xbox App beta - the Xbox is controllable but the Xbox App beta is also being controlled by the controller - so pressing the B button at any time immediately terminates
    the streaming.

    I have found a workaround for this problem. If you can, simply don't connect the controller to your PC, let it connected to the Xbox One instead. When you start streaming, simply ignore the warning saying that no controller is being connected to your PC.
    So, your input will be directly managed by the Xbox, not your PC. The problem seems to originate from the fact that The Division server is monitoring controller input in some way. and the extra latency put in from streaming the input from your PC to the Xbox
    then to Division's servers causes the glitch. Though, for my workaround to be applicable to you, your PC must be in controller range from your Xbox. Hope this helps.

    Can I use a Laptop as a monitor screen for my Xbox One S?

    You could stream on mixer through your xbox and then you could put your own stream up on your laptop but there will be a 2 second delay with the control inputs, if you're playing a slow game it should work fine though.
