    Controller needs to be jump started every time to turn on


    The problem I have is when batteries are fully charged I still can't turn on my remote, it flashes once then dies, I plug it in and turn on and it's fine, I then unplug it after it's on and it's completely fine, and shows battery level on screen stuck at about 75%, so I'm confused on why it needs to be "jump started" every time to turn on and why it shows stuck battery level. Although it's only just started doing this, it's been fine before now.

    However if I use AA batteries and not a battery pack everything is fine, battery level and turns on so I'm confused.

    Sorry to hear about the issue. It looks like the battery included in your kit is already faulty. It may no longer hold a charge correctly. Since you tried it with AA batteries and everything is fine, that confirms your battery kit is already faulty and needs replacement.

    I've narrowed it down to turning on the controller before the console has started. It automatically tries to sign in when the controller connects, so I'm assuming that's the issue. If I don't turn the controller on until the console has started, it will
    start without issue every time.

    when is the last time you did a hard restart? hold down the power button for 5 seconds... let it sit for a minute.. then restart.... remember.. these things are like PCs and need to be jump started every now and then

    Xbox One X randomly turning off
