    Hi I have a xbox series s had if for about one and half year / 2 years .. the past couple of days when in a middle of a game the controller seems to loss its connection but it is still link up and stays on we have tried different controllers and the all do the same and we tried it on different games as well and it still does it I will add that abox has hardly been used since bought only really started playing on it more this year

    I am sorry to hear that.

    Please, reset your controller pairing.

    To unpair it, press and hold the pair button on top of the controller for a few seconds until it vibrates twice.

    Then, pair it again.

    Turn on your controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button.

    Press and release the Pair button on the Xbox.

    Within 20 seconds, press and hold the controller’s Pair button a circular button on top of the controller as you hold it in your hands) until the controller's Xbox button flashes a few times.

    That means it's searching for a console.

    The Xbox button stays lit once it's connected.

    It just happened again. Lost connectivity to xbox live and controller losses sync. Plugging in controller gets it to work with xbox again, but cannot connect to xbox live every time this happens.

    I was about to recommend the same. Either that or use a USB cable to connect the controller to the console. No connection loss issues at all then.

    My controller sometimes losses connection to my Xbox One and this happens ( or my batteries die ) Don't know if its a known issue but it has happened to me in that particular circumstance

    TrackZ, that's probably my exact same case. The only time I turn off my controller / lose connection is when I exit a game, so it would make sense. Any connection loss causes the choppy mouse and loud boop noises.
