    Controller Keeps Disconnecting


    During gameplay, around 20mins in, the controller will disconnect from Bluetooth. This is a semi-common problem, however, I don't have an Xbox, I just have a PC. When it starts, it basically repeats every 30s to 2 mins following.

    What I've tried:
    -Updating the Drivers for the controllers in Devices
    -Disconnecting and Reconnecting the controller
    -Rebooting after initial connect and update attempt
    -Avoided interference by removing other objects within the controllers path
    -Bringing the controller much closer to the Bluetooth antenna
    -Unlinking every other device

    -Checking for updates with an alternative method other than drivers (found nothing)

    Also, I've found in other forums that Updating the controller firmware via Xbox will work, however, I'm just on PC, so I wildly assumed that the driver is the issue but it appears to not be the case...

    What's a guy to do?

    My controller keeps disconnecting from my xbox. I have bought new controllers and it still disconnects even with the new controller. I have the Day one xbox. Any help will be nice.

    Exactly what they said above. Make sure the connections are clean and when you have the pack plugged in, make sure there is no visible crack anywhere in the case. It should seal up perfectly with no games or cracks.

    Also if you know anyone with an extra controller you could try it on your console and see if it resolves the problem. You could also take your controller into any store that sells games or consoles and see if they will let you test your controller on their
    console.

    Last. Make sure you don't slam your controller onto your lap if you are ever frustrated. If the controller is slammed down or set down too hard onto a surface, it could start popping the battery pack out of the controller. Over time, that will prevent
    the pack from snapping in properly. Hope this helps.

    If you have followed all the troubleshooting steps to no avail all you can do is send that console for repairs.
