Controller keeps disconnecting during intense gameplay sessions

Some wireless signal interference may also cause this problem.



Here are some initial troubleshooting and cross-testing steps:

Remove your controller from your Xbox console first.

Then you can do a Power cycle:

- Press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds.

- After the console has shut down, unplug the power cord and wait 30 seconds.

- Also remove all peripherals like Storage Expansion Cards, UBD HDDs, battery charging stations, etc.

- Plug the console back in and turn it on by pressing the Xbox button.

Then try re-add the Xbox controller.



Also, to troubleshoot your controller, you can connect it to PC, and try using a wired connection on console to see if it disconnects during gameplay.



Finally, can you tell me in which stage of which game this problem mainly occurs? Is this the only game where this problem occurs?

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please set a static IP address. Setting a static IP address for your Xbox can help maintain a more stable connection. To do this please go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Advanced settings > IP settings and select Manual. Enter a valid IP address, subnet mask, and gateway for your network.

And then update router firmware. Make sure that your router's firmware is up to date. Visit your router manufacturer's website and look for the support or downloads section to find the latest firmware updates.

Next is set a manual DNS, please go to settings> network> network settings> Advanced settings>DNS Settings> Manual.

PRIMARY DNS: 8.8.8.8

SECONDARY DNS: 8.8.4.4

Kindly restart your Xbox and also your router after performing these steps.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly consider using a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi. This can provide a more stable and reliable connection.
