Controller just plain not working

Discus and support Controller just plain not working in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So I can turn the controller on, the light comes on.     Controller just plain not working


    So I can turn the controller on, the light comes on. If the Xbox is off, I can even use it to turn the Xbox on, but it won't do anything on screen.

    Curser doesn't move. Won't open main Xbox menu. Won't do anything but shut back off by either holding the center button long enough or removing the battery. And if I just leave it, being idle doesn't turn it off.

    Xbox is the white one. 1T hard drive one. The controller is the newish black one. I even have the same exact controller that I bought the same day as the one that isn't working, but this controller DOES work.

    I bought two controllers to have two controllers, not one controller and a broken controller just for charging.

    Can anyone help me?

    yes this game suffers major connection issues outside of the lag.

    not to complain about a 60 dollar purchase that i feel digusted about.

    Microsoft is just plain awful.

    I would love to help you, but your not giving any information to your problem. Maybe list some of the error codes that your experiencing. And if you want to call someone to help: Toll free: (800) 4MY-XBOX or (800) 469-9269. Without a doubt, they'll be able
    to resolve the problems with your xbox 360.
