controller issues for halo infinite on pc

Halo Infinite, while being a very bad and poor Halo game is not hacked to death, i play via PC with a controller at that and very rarely see cheaters from the PC side, what i do see is console players with zero recoil and rapid fire which is from modded controllers.

I believe I have solved the issue: halo infinite apparently takes issue with wired controllers. Out of the four controllers I own, the issue is reproducible with only the wired ones. Wireless controllers don’t have this issue. No idea why this is
