Controller/Internet disconnection

Just recently my controller has started to randomly disconnect from my Xbox, at the same time my Xbox disconnects from the internet. It seems to do better while plugged into Ethernet cable and the controller connected via usb; but, it stills happens. I noticed
the issue was blowing up 3 years ago but I never found useful information to help fix the problem. Thanks.

can my controller be responsible for disconneting me from xbl

If it says reconnect controller, it'll hold that message in the pop up for a little while. As soon as it clears, the next messages display such as a disconnection. The controller can't affect an internet connection. Try rebooting your network.

Internet Disconnection

I know this game is kind of old, but anytime I'm connected to XBL and try to play Anarchy Reigns I automatically get disconnected, but I get reconnected when I go back to the home page. It's the only game that does that. Also, I've played through the entire
game but none of the achievements unlocked.

When you connect your controller it disconnect you from the internet?

I tried 2 controllers. Both are disconnecting. And when they're both connected, I can see that they disconnect at the same time.

Well, when I don't have any controller connected the Internet is disconnected too. When I stay on the Wi-Fi / Internet page, it says "No connection" with or without a controller connected. The controller is disconnected with the Internet, even when I don't
have a Internet connection set up.

I miss play GTA V...

I know why my internet keeps disconnecting. What im saying is my controller disconnects when i lose connection. It will reconnect but on rare occasions it will not turn back on. Dont worry about the wifi part. All I need to know is if the controllers are
supposed to drop conneection and then reconnect when the xbox all of a sudden loses internet connection. I dont lose control of the wifi.

If your Wifi with internet disconnects along with control of the wifi, it really is a software problem not hardware! Tell me whenever disconnecting the internet occurs, your control disconnects along every time or rare times?
