Controller input lag with the Xbox streaming app.

Upgraded to Xbox App beta 9.9.21000 but still having the same issue:

Able to stream to my Xbox, but the controller is passing its input to both the Xbox and the Xbox App beta - the Xbox is controllable but the Xbox App beta is also being controlled by the controller - so pressing the B button at any time immediately terminates
the streaming.

Streaming games is already possible through Onlive but the quality is not good and there is input lag.

If you are experiencing right stick input lag on your Xbox Elite controller when exiting games back to the Home Screen, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

Update the controller firmware: Make sure your controller is running the latest firmware. To check for updates, go to the Xbox Accessories app, select your controller, and click on "Device info". If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

Check controller settings: Make sure the right stick sensitivity and dead zones are set correctly in the Xbox Accessories app. You may also want to try adjusting the stick response curves to see if that improves the input lag.

I can confirm that the HDMI input has approx 170 milli-seconds of latency. On top of a typical display lag, you're looking at over 200ms of overall latency.

I have my xbox 360 going through it now and it's un-playable.

FYI ... Method of measurement : I modified an xbox 360 controller with a light sensor and created an xna app that measures display lag by flashing the display and waiting for a response from the modified controller.

Xbox one is great ... but stick with passive content on the hdmi input.

xbox peripherals other than the controller will not work over streaming full stop. the files you were trying to use are to set them up for other games, only the xbox controller or a controller with x-input can be used for streaming.
