Controller hypersensitive, and malfunctions after update

I happened to have to replace a controller around the same time as an update. This is my Third controller I replace from the store each one does the menu fast scrolling, buttons hypersensitive ****. I got a brand new controller yesterday at GameStop. I stg within a couple hours of use the same thing. An absolute brand new power A controller the last 2 controllers were pdp.

I had series s since day one and the controllers would fry out the same way and I didn't know why. I now have series x and same **** just more frequently.

Xbox refuses to even acknowledge this bs because Xbox treats customers like drug dealers treat drug addicts

Based on your thread's category you have an Xbox Console, are you playing on computer too?
May we know what does "menu fast scrolling" in your description?
May we know what update are you referring to?
When did this issue happen? Are you part of Xbox Insider or are you playing the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) games?
Since this is a PDP controller, may we know if you have tried to contact the support of the controller's manufacturer? Or are we using one of these controllers:
- Xbox Wireless Controller | Xbox
- Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 | Xbox
May we ask if you noticed an error message/code? Please post a screenshot and conceal personal information.

Hey, WGCC1994.

Really sorry about your controllers not working after a attempted controller update. Dropping the controllers may have had something to due with the malfunctioning of the controller during the update. But that cant really be confirmed. It's strange because
I updated my controller only a day ago, worked perfectly. The controllers may have had software failures during the update, which probably made unable to power back on. All of this just sounds plain awful. The only way is to purchase new controllers if they
cannot be repaired.

I am personally sorry about this. No-one would like to pay 50 dollars for a controller and have malfunction. I know I wouldn't.

Have you also done Controller Update?

For that go to Settings-> System.

Maybe your Controller has dropped at anytime too hard?

If not you can also request a Repair/Exchange, for that Register your device on xbox.com
