Controller got wet

Hello Anthonyu, in cases like this try waiting for the control to dry completely, and then test to see if it turns on normally again.

If you turn it on and the blinking continues, follow the procedures below to see if it returns to normal.

If you have a USB cable, try to follow the procedures bellow.

First remove the batteries from the controller and for 1 minute keep pressing all the buttons on the controller and moving the knobs.

After you're done, plug the USB cable controller into your console and turn it on.

Then clear the cache on the console and check if the control has any updates to be made.

1. Go to the Xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until it turns off

2. Wait 10 seconds until it turns off

3. Wait 1 minute with it off

4. Turn it back on

After the console restarts and I'm at the console start screen, put the batteries back in the controller, remove the USB cable and see if it back to normal.

I would like to get a new controller for my xbox. I have tried all the step on the computer and nothing is working. The controller got wet so it will not work

If the controller got wet, any warranty will now be void, you will need to purchase a new controller from any retail store online or brick and mortar store.

The best way is to just buy a new controller due to you got the controller wet the warenty is not longer valid

Hey sorry to hear that your controller got wet but the only thing I can think of is purchase another controller.

Since you've said the controller got wet, you need to purchase a new controller yourself.

Warranty is void when electronics get in touch with water.
