Controller form new Xbox one s works bad.

Hello!

I bought new Xbox one s today. And at the start I have a problem - controller works bad. Every 5 minutes it shows that batteries are uncharged and after 10 seconds everything is okay again. I tried different batteries, but still same problem. Does anyone
have tips how I can fix it?

Will the new Xbox One S controller work with the regular Xbox one, and vice versa?

Controller & media remote compatibility

Hi

I feel stupid for asking this but I wanted to make sure.

I've just bought an xbox one s and I need a new controller, and a media remote for plex.

Does the normal xbox one controller still work on the xbox one s? The normal xbox one controller is a bit cheaper on ebay.

I also can't find a specific xbox one s media remote so I'm taking it the media remote for the xbox one works perfectly find on the S?

As I said I feel a bit stupid for asking and I'm sure they both work just fine on the S.

Since it is a new purchase you should take it back to the store and exchange it.

So to make this even more confusing to figure out. I just dug out my old xbox one s, fired it up and tested all the controller on
it. The old ones still work fine. The black one that came with the new xbox series x works fine. The new style white controller that come with the new xbox series s and the new style black controller bought today from best buy BOTH have the headset low volume
problem on my old xbox one s. Totally confused at this point.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have a question on controllers. Not sure if the controllers from the new Xbox will work on current ones. However, the controllers for Xbox one generation will work on the new Series S/X.
