Controller disconnects and frame rate issues on City Skyline on Xbox One Scorpion.

I'm experiencing my controller disconnecting randomly during my game play on City Skyline. I have an Xbox Scorpion. My city is getting really big and I am also experiencing frame rate issues. The Xbox is slowing down tremendously now that my city is
much bigger than in the beginning. Need to know if there are people out there experiencing the same problem and if there is a solution.

That seems to be an issue related to that specific game so my suggestion would be to reach the game developer and report this issue

Have you power cycled your console to see if that might improve the frame rate issues?

We asked the game created and they referred it back to Xbox.

 

How do you power cycle on a Scorpio Xbox? I shut it off after each use. We contacted the game maker and they said to talk to the console maker. I thought Xbox finally got it right with this powerhouse but it seems like it is doing the same thing as
the xbox 360 with frame rate issues when there is a lot going on in the game all at once. Any other suggestions out there? Any others experiencing the same problems even with different games besides city skyline that have a Xbox Scorpio?

 

Yes! This has been happening to me since i got the xbox, but i always blamed the TV!!

I went through 3 TV’s before landing on the 65” Sony x900e (not cheap) and thought I finally had made it to gamer heaven. Xbox one S hooked up the ARC input, HDR 10, surround sound headphones, and Red Dead Redemption 2.

The game looked incredible, the realist looking AND feeling game I’ve ever played...then I started progressing in the game...and the image would look off after a while of playing...it looked like the 1st game. Now its just normal. The whole game looks like
grainy shit, with a frame rate that cant catch hair moving in the wind, or rain, or lightning. It’s a freaking gross, pixelated mess all the time now and I can’t find a solution.

At first, like i said, i blamed fhe TV. I tried every possibly rendition of settings that were available. I’ve changed the xbox settings AND red dead’s settings. I’ve checked my internet connection (it’s 70 Mbps) and reset my modem.

This is the first post ive seen to address that it could be the XBO and most likely is. Man. I am PISSED

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue concerning your game not running as smoothly as it's supposed to and your controller disconnecting. From the way it sounds, if it is only affecting one game, maybe there something went wrong with the initial
