Controller disconnecting issues

Hi I have had problems with my Xbox one controllers dc from my console I have noticed many people complaining of this and Xbox seem to be doing nothing I have had to play Xbox with a wire connected to my pad for over a year now and gone through 2 controllers
as eventually the wire socket on the pad breaks, I have spoke a few times on the support chat to be misunderstood and be mocked for having crohns disease, anybody else having the same problems because am sick of it. When are we going to get a console a company
can be proud of rather than just looking for the dollar signs

I'm having this problem too. When I use the mic when the controller disconnects, even when I turn it back on the mic seems to not work either. Unplugging it and plugging it back in doesn't seem to help. I have to go through a long process just to get the
mic to work.

 

if your controllers are disconnecting frequently I would make sure you have fresh batteries. then take the batteries out of the controller. press and hold the power button on the console for ten seconds then unplug the power from the console. leave everything
unplugged for a few minutes. then plug the xbox back in and replace the batteries on the controller. then plug the controller into the console via usb and check for updates for the controller to do this go to settings>all settings>Kinect and devices>devices
and accessories>select the controller> on the left side it will either say update now or no update available.

 

@rustinpeace I would recommend the same to you and make sure the headset is plugged in when trying to update the controller.

 

I have tried all this I got my Xbox in July last year this started after an update in September I have tried all trouble shooting even moving turning off other wifi devices seems to be a software issue?

 

Mine is also worse when am in a party and sometimes the mic doesn't connect back at all

 

I checked the controller update status and there's no update available. I'll try your suggestion though to see if it helps
