Controller disconnected? {or not apparently}

    Controller disconnected? {or not apparently}


    I don't know what's going on ‍♂️ but for the last two days, when my Controller is disconnected {for 15mins of being on a game it's fine} any longer and I will stop receiving the error "controller disconnected, please reconnect and press any button" if I turn the controller of I'll hear the xbox guide audio as if it was closing, but I don't get the controller disconnected alert, I thought it was just gta but I tried red dead.. And after 15mins i turned my Controller off and didn't get the alert to reconnect, its fine for the first maybe 10mins on any game but any longer and the alert doesn't show anymore.. I don't know what it is I am SURE I have no other controllers connected and I'm only signed into MY account

    Oh yeh apparently this update fixed the controller disconnect issues! Pffffft! Updated my console, updated my controller, and guess what? Disconnected twice yesterday for no reason. Real great fixing Microsoft!

    Controller disconnecting

    Mine is a XB1, about two years of usage, I have two controllers and couple weeks ago both controllers started disconnecting without apparent reason.

    I've tried updating the console and the controllers, and also did a clear cache procedure, hold the power button until it shuts down, and it still disconnecting.

    Sometimes it works for a while without disconnecting, but other times it happens more frequently and I get really annoyed with that.

    Is there anything else I can do?

    Same issue as everyone else here - 2 separate controllers and each disconnect within 15 seconds to several minutes no matter what activity I'm doing so apparently the issue lies with the console. Looks like the solution is getting a replacement console???

    Turning off the computer did not work. Before I had this problem, I also had another issue involving the controllers. The controllers would disconnect randomly. I later found out that it actually wasn't random, they disconnected when it vibrated. After
    turning off controller rumble this issue went away. However, this also occurred whit my friend's controller when connected (the controller apparently worked fine on his console). This strengthens my suspicion that it is a problem with the console. Also,
    would the controllers be able to sync if I were to connect them to the console via USB? If so, could they remain synced after unplugging them (so that I could sync all three controllers one at a time and not need three cables)?
