Controller disconnect on Insider beta

Tried 2 different networks and changing the DNS twice and still disconnecting. I'm not using any insider build or beta os

Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

I had the same problem. It has been happening since I got the Xbox but it seems to be worse with certain games. It got to the point where I couldn’t play online at all without the controller disconnecting. It seems to me that the batteries “shift” in the
controller causing it to disconnect. I put a small piece of foam tape on the inside of the battery cover to hold them in tighter and boom! No more problems! I haven’t tried this with AA’s but it surprisingly works with the P&C kit. I feel like a damn Beta
tester.

By suggesting I follow this step, are you therefore saying that being in the xbox insider programme is a possible cause for controller disconnection?
