Controller Deadzones

Why after 5 years of this option not only being disabled it's getting worse?! I know why as you want us mugs to shelll out for an elite controller but come on lads., you've got fans here who have spent hard earned cash on your hardware and we no longer have the option to fine tune how we control the games ( again!?) we pay good money for!!!

Oh, I see. That's a good question .Controller deadzone is the amount your control stick can move before it's recognized in game. The best way is to adjust the deadzone in your controller.

anyone with the speed wheel willing to share settings? I just got a new one and am trying to learn how to tweak the controls. there's no guide on what any of these settings mean. or know any sites that will explain the following settings?

right now I'm kinda happy with speed wheel setting 1 with the following:

with these settings sometimes I totally feel dialed in and other times I'm out of control.

here are the default speed wheel settings which drove me crazy:

Check on apps, accessories and devices, check for controller updates.

Does it do similar on any other games?

Could be controller drift, certain games allow you to alter change controller deadzone, the larger the deadzone the more input required for it to move in that direction.

It must be your controller because I don't have a problem with deadzones in my controller.

Regarding your concern about the option being disabled, I would like to clarify that the deadzone settings are available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles. You can adjust the deadzone settings by going to Settings > Devices & accessories > Xbox Wireless Controller > Configure > Stick sensitivity.
