Controller Calibration

I'm shocked that my $500+ Xbox One X doesn't have something so basic as a calibration app for the controller. Am I missing something, or does it truly not exist?

I'm having having a deadzone problem with my older controller which drifts up constantly but slowly. It would be nice to expand the deadzone as the controller is still in really good condition before having to buy a new one.

Xbox One Controller on PC Help!

Perhaps the controller might need some calibration?

Assuming you're using Windows 10, try to find calibration settings for your controller in the hardware/device list.

Calibrating a Controller

Thanks for the reply, I checked the in-game options, but have found the controller missed up.

We currently don't have a controller calibration app for the Xbox. If you strongly enough about one being implemented, you are more than welcomed to suggest it on our
Xbox Ideas site. We do have a

Device Support site in which you can see any options for your controller if it needs a repair/replacement.

Ok, I will suggest it at the Xbox Ideas site. Still kinda boggles my mind.

BTW, what does it generally cost to fix a controller?

You can check if your controller is still within warranty (then it's a free repair), or the page will show you how much it costs here:

https://devicesupport.microsoft.com

There you'll have to register your console, if not already done so and then say you have trouble with an accessory for that console.

Choose your controller, and if asked for the controller serial number, you'll find that in the battery compartment.

That would be a great idea. However, calibration is available in many games. You can adjust deadzones, sensitivity, acceleration, etc. You could look into those as well.

That maybe can be the Batery or the Calibration of your Controller, You tried remake the calibration on you Controller? You make some Firmware Update in Controller?

Not the permanant solution I was looking for.

However, I did try using a PS4 controler and the calibration worked for that.

not sure why it refuses to calibrate the Xbox controller.

This!! Also, best you could outside the game is probably adjust analog stick sensitivity with an elite controller (assuming you have one)!
