Controller Buttons Squeaking

    Controller Buttons Squeaking


    I got my custom controller in the post today, ive been playing for say an hour or so. The B button is squeaking so often, its like you scraped a fork on a plate. Is there anything i can do to get this to stop? Or do i just have to deal with it.

    If the controller is new you can ask for a change... cause it's covered by warranty

    Xbox one s controller trigger squeak

    The squeak is something we all end up having. I don't have a single controller that doesn't have a squeak or weirdness in a trigger/button/stick. Alcohol swabs or a little bit of lithium grease/wd40/sewing machine oil helps as well.

    Did the controller come with the Xbox? The controller that came with my Xbox is breaking as well. The A button is going all loose and the left trigger is squeaking really bad, and i think it's going to break soon.

    Haha, I'm assuming it's the metal spring causing the squeaking and not the plastic?

    Annoyingly I just grabbed my Titanfall controller to squeak the trigger... And it's not squeaking, welcome back to the family again old friend! ;)

    Controller stick squeaks in multiple controllers

    When I replaced my 360S and a 360E, the controller that came with it squeaked for quite a while. It seemed to stop once I "broke it in". I don't have any problems with it at all now.

    Does the squeak hinder performance or is it just a nuisance?
